What connects us—to ourselves, to each other, and to nature?
What are our roots?
How do we grow—alone and together?
In GRO, you’ll meet two sisters, Mette and Liva, who have grown up together. While they may look alike, yet they are also beautifully different.
Liva loves music, Mette loves dance—and they both love to grow, in their own ways and together. They invite you into a sensory world where they explore life’s small miracles through movement and sound.
Through dance and song inspired by nature’s rhythms, we celebrate the extraordinary gift of life on Earth—the ability to grow, both as people and as nature itself.
You will sit on the floor close to the performers, where children are welcome to be curious, explore, and engage with the space. GRO is an invitation to wonder, move, and grow together.
GRO was developed through a hands-on series of workshops with kindergarten children, where we explored the meaning of growth together. A heartfelt thank you to both the children and adults who contributed to this journey!

One of the most captivating elements of GRO is its beautiful song, which resonated deeply with audiences. The song, featuring the mesmerising tones of the handpan, enhances the engaging experience, evoking a sense of wonder and connection.

Over the past year, GRO has taken audiences on a journey of movement, connection, and wonder. With 50 performances across various municipalities and institutions, more than 900 children joined us in growing together. Following this, Tiny Dancer brought GRO to theater stages, where children experienced the performance alongside their parents and caregivers, deepening the shared experience of growth.
Here are some of the wonderful venues where GRO has been performed:
