How does it feel to realize that we are constantly shaping and influencing the reality we share?
Participants begin by receiving wireless headphones, where they are guided through the rules and objectives of the game. They are now blue, red, or green—their identity throughout the experience. Each group meets their dancer, their game master, who will lead them through the journey, using movement to show them the way. From this moment on, it’s all about being creative with the body!
School students embark on a performative journey through movement, words, and physical expression. As they navigate different stages of the game, they explore how learning through the body enhances the creative process and how it affects them. The students themselves create choreographies, making choices individually and collectively.
Body on an Adventure has been played by numerous school classes with great success during its three-year tour. We highly recommend trying it with your students!
The project was developed in collaboration with Dansehallerne and has toured schools across the country as part of KORA.
