What is hidden in the mysterious suitcase? And what happens when the enchanting instrument begins to play?
Join us on a journey to explore the true meaning of "home."
Designed for children aged 3–6 years, YEM is a 45-minute performance blending movement, music, and storytelling. Developed in close collaboration between artists David Navndrup Black and Mette Møller Overgaard, it invites children into a world of wonder, curiosity, and discovery.
The mesmerizing set and costumes, designed by Sigrid Astrup, create a visually stunning and immersive atmosphere that captures the imagination. Every detail is carefully curated to transport young audiences and their families into an enchanting artistic universe.
YEM is co-produced with Dansehallerne and has received generous support from Statens Kunstfond. Special thanks to Aaben Dans and Push+ for their invaluable contributions to the project.
Experience the magic of YEM—where every step tells a story, every note opens a door to new possibilities, and movement carries us on an unforgettable journey into the heart of imagination.
"It opened up the senses in a wonderful way, allowing us to see and be part of the performance. A beautifully immersive and dynamic experience. The interplay between live music and dance was delightful."
“Entering the space gradually exemplified the sense of exploring. My daughter was attentive to the directions given and felt immediately part of the adventure and her body tuned in”
"As a mom I enjoyed so much to see, my normally shy boy, get more and more at ease and comfortable, by the end of the performance he didn't need me by his side and was dancing around following the performers in joy”
